bandages and towels dabbed crimson with blood. a high rise suite,
      from the look of it, and certainly not in starling city. expensive
      artwork hangs upon all four walls, indicating some sort of
      substantial success in life. they’re placed slightly askew,
      implying that little care was given to their placement. and for all of
      the impressive items scattered about the location, none of it
      seems particularly genuine. this isn’t to say that her expensive
      decor is fake      on the contrary, it’s all quite legitimate. it’s her interest
      in it all that seems falsified. these are all of the things that she expects
      the man to deduce upon a simple glance; she knows who he is,
      and what he is. attempting to deceive him entirely is an unwise
      thing to do.

      he stirs at last. it’d only been several days since she plucked his broken body
      from those snowy, high-raising steeps. “ i wouldn’t move around too much just
      yet. ” karen insists. “ and, please, don’t go for the bow. i didn’t leave it there for
      you to shoot me with it. ” her back is turned as she works at a desk, a lamp
      casting it’s light over several papers. he sits in the dark of the room, making
      the woman out to be considerate if nothing else. “ your eyes might be a bit
      sensitive to light. ”
